Nicky Tucker - Profile Started his playing career on the books of Cardiff City before a move to Merthyr Tydfil and then Mangotsfield United. Returned to Wales with Inter Cardiff before signing for Taffs Well. Moved into management with Dinas Powys before taking over at Taffs Well where he impressed enough for Llanelli to appoint him as manager in October 2004. Llanelli had suffered a nine match losing run prior to Tucker’s arrival and he worked wonders on a limited budget to keep Llanelli in the Welsh Premier League. Despite his excellent work at the club Tucker was replaced by Peter Nicholas as Llanelli became a full-time club and he returned to the Welsh League with Bridgend Town for a brief period before returning to Dinas Powys for a second time as manager. Tucker built a strong side at Dinas Powys before being offered the chance to return to the Welsh Premier League with Port Talbot Town in November 2007.
