Neil Thomas -
Influential midfield player who started his Welsh football career in the Welsh League with Taffs Well. Progressed into the Welsh Premier League with Llanelli and made an immediate impression by winning the Player of the Month award in December 2004 after just 10 appearances for the club. An RAF posting moved him to North Wales and to Bangor City that season but returned to Llanelli when the move failed to materialise. Signed briefly for Porthmadog in 2005 before again returning to Llanelli and then remained in West Wales with a move to Haverfordwest County in 2007. With a high goal return from midfield, Thomas impressed Port Talbot Town manager Mark Jones enough to bring him to The GenQuip Stadium in 2009.
