After a mad dash from the Greenstars and putting up the goals in record breaking time ( John and John the putting up of mini goals course is next Wednesday!!!!! ) we played Porthcawl Blues. The boys started really well with plenty of hard work and simple passing the only downside we couldn't get the goal we deserved. The second period continued in the same manner and just like the first game a lack of concentration allowed Porthcawl to open the scoring when "the pest" Kavan was unlucky to score an own goal. The third period saw us continue to create chances and finally Chay scored with an overhead kick from an Ashley cross. The final period saw both sides go for broke and there chances at both ends but a combination of poor finishing and good goal keeping kept the score at 1-1. A big thank you to Ashley, Chay, "The Pest" Kavan and Lewis for playing in both games, Man Of The Match "The Pest" Kavan for running his socks off in attack and defence. Ian Wozencroft, Manager.
