On a sunny fresh morning the boys came up against the Lido in a game that was played 7 v 7 due to both teams being short of players. The first three periods were identical both teams looking to play football but also defending strongly. William in goals made some great saves to deny the Lido and we managed to miss several well created chances ourselves when it seemed we had to score. The final period saw great saves and missed chances for both sides up until the smallest player in the Lido team scored 2 great headers from 2 corners to make the final score 0 - 2. A draw i think would have been a fair result but if you don't take your chances and switch off in defence for a split second you will get punished, but this was a very entertaining game to watch with both sides giving everything.
