I was away in sunny Tenerife for this game so it was up to Mark Evans and Gary Dawkins to take the side at Western Avenue against our fellow younger team. The game went ahead despite heavy rain all week, with Yellows manager Darren Vaughan missing quite a few key players they still managed to play some good football, the result was harsh but the age difference took its toll in the end but I have no doubt Darren’s team will bounce back as they are a very good side.
