Davies and Ley on target in Airbus draw
A hard game on the Thursday before and the long journey to North Wales on the bus took its toll as it was a flat performance by the Blues, the conditions were not the best with a powerful blustery wind proving a massive disadvantage for both teams. Airbus started with the wind in their favour and looked the most likely to score but against the run of play Macauley Ley found space and shot and Ashley Davies volleyed home to make it 1-0, however the home side levelled one minute before the break. In the 2nd period Port Talbot took advantage of the wind and started the play a little better, pushing forward and looking more dangerous and it paid off, a great run down the left hand side by Evan Corcoran who also finished with a great strike to make it 2-1. In the third period both sides had a couple of chances and with five minutes left Airbus drew level from a corner although Ashley Davies nearly won it with the last kick of the game but the draw was a fair result considering we were far from our best.
