Another lovely sunny day saw PTFC entertain improving Margam BGC at Western ave. Playing under the new FAW guidelines Margam kicked off and straight away the home team started to pass the ball around and create decent chances. Some excellent midfield play from Dylan Pickin created a chance for Corey Thomas who shot just wide of the Margam goals. Margam themselves were creating some decent chances only to be denied an opening goal by our ever improving goalkeeper Callum Young. Then with around 5 minutes remaining in the first half PTFC broke the deadlock after some excellent passing lead to a goal by James King. But straight from the kick off Margam pushed for an equaliser and a strong forward surge saw them scoring a well taken goal.

Half Time:- PTFC 1 - 1 Margam BGC

Second half got underway and again some slick passing created a chance for Connor Thomas only to shoot just wide of the Margam Goals. The game really started to flow in both directions and some excellent defending from Curtis Bartlett and Luke Young preventing Margam from taking the lead. Then some excellent midfield passing from Callum Thomas and Jayden O`Brien led to a goal for the home team scored by Dylan Pickin. PTFC started to gain control of the game and were 3-1 ahead thanks to a well taken goal by Curtis Bartlett. Margam then pushed on and scored a goal to bring the score back to 3-2 but the best move of the game started by a great ball up the line from Luke Young to Curtis Bartlett who crossed the ball to Dylan Pickin who shot first time into the bottom corner.

Full Time:- PTFC 4 - 2 Margam BGC. Darren King, Manager.
