Our opening league game of the season was a very one-sided affair with the opposition team mainly being a year younger than us. As we found out ourselves last season the physical difference is a major factor at this level of football. However we did play some excellent football and passed our way through the game, there were some fantastic performances from Zac and Taylor especially while Kane and Lloyd both scored twice each on their debuts. The game was a very pleasing team effort as we kept our shape well and also kept a clean sheet which was great. Goalscorers were Zac Coombes with two, a hat-trick from Evan Corcoran (one of which was a wonder strike), two from Lloyd Jones, two from Kane Devonald and a goal from Ashley Davies.
