Match Report
Easter Saturday saw us play the Colts at the Greenstars in the glorious sunshine, where again the boys started with some good passing and all round team work. The scoring was opened by Kavan after a strong tackle and neat pass by Pikey, this was quickly followed by Kavan's second after some good build up play. The Colts did pull one back though with the final kick of the half with a good finish from Travis,1-2. The second period and the boys were looking to pass at every opportunity and created chance after chance. Two were finally taken by Morgan, the first after Pikey and Kavan had linked together well and the second when Max and Connor's build up play got the ball to Morgan who turned and shot low into the bottom corner, 1-4. The third period again saw some good passing football with Port Talbot always looking to play from the back with Lewis and Max. The fifth goal was scored by Ashley with a fine finish at the far post from a quality Pikey cross, 1-5. The final period saw one more goal which was forced home by Connor after some good all round team work and passing, Final Score 1-6. Man Of The Match going to Max for some strong defensive work and willingness to play football from the back.
