Match Report
Following on from a fantastic performance last week against Porthcawl C, in which the boys won 9-1 on a lovely warm sunny day, they were beaten today, not only by a well organised, attacking Porthcawl B team, but by the terrible weather. It was cold, wet and very windy. his came as a bit of a shock for them, but nevertheless, they put up a strong, determined performance. Porthcawl while going 2-0 up and feeling confident, started throwing everything forward and were well caught out when a lovely pass was picked up by Jade Dawkins and was put away nicely to make it 2-1. Some hard work was needed now, and was answered by Alex Philpott & Ryan Harding & Connor Margetson, but no matter how hard the lads tried, this was a good result for Porthcawl, eventually running out 4-2 winners, with Ryan Harding getting us a late goal. Also a mention to our goalie, William, he had a busy day in terrible conditions, but showed how much better he is getting all the time, with good hands and some strong kicks, well done.
