Jason Welsh - Player Profile Physical striker who came through the youth ranks at Taffs Well before joining Cwmbran Town in the Welsh Premier League in 2000. Moved to the English pyramid in 2005 when he signed for Merthyr Tydfil and his performances there attracted the interest of Gloucester City. Welsh then moved from Gloucester to Swindon Supermarine before returning to the Welsh Premier League with Port Talbot Town in May 2008 to link up with former Taffs Well manager Nicky Tucker.
